100 words on “The Ghost” from Rebirth
The first instrument I bought was a little Casio from a pawn shop for $100. I took it to university and wrote the songs for my first album on it, then pounded them out on a piano in the studio at my old high school with my sound engineer friend. We recorded every day after work on a 4-track and had no idea how to record an album, but we did it anyway. And I sang of a ghost haunting the shore where she had walked willingly into the sea, contemplating the measure of time and its hold on her.
