“Let the Wookiee Win” from Copy Red Leader’s Crossing the Streams
The first time I truly let my geek flag fly was when I was writing songs with my former bandmate in a duo called Copy Red Leader. I don’t talk about it much because it didn’t end well and took me a long time to recover from, but enough time has passed I can filter some of the good times out from the rest and listen to the songs that started the journey. I wrote this during FAWM 2013 in about 15 minutes as a sing-along, and (to my knowledge) it is my only song to have ever been parodied.
