Right place, right time

100 words on “Even Standing Still” from Reset to Factory Specs

There’s a dark pit that sometimes holds me like a lover’s embrace, begging me to stay just one more day becoming week becoming month. Like a blanket of fog that muffles the wonders of the world so that I forget there were ever things to wonder about. It takes a spark to burn a tiny window to something beautiful that I can connect to again. Once that spark was a beloved dog staring transfixed at the sky. Why? got through and I looked up too to count 50 silent crows with wings dipped in the orange sunset fly over us.
