The most metal thing I’d ever seen was Cate Blanchett become beautiful and terrible as the dawn as Galadriel when Frodo offers her the Ring. I’ve been lucky to find friends who like to make silly, awesome, powerhouse songs about fandom and treat them seriously enough to hone them into killer tracks I cannot wait to get into the studio to sing. The book was my reference for the lyrics. I quoted the witch queen word for word so I could channel the delectable hell out of her, and I do not deny that my heart has greatly desired this.
