Who I am

I'm an internationally touring singer-songwriter with 13 solo albums that range from storytelling styles to bluesy bar rock to full-band homages to pop culture. My co-writer is a piano and my happy place is vocal layering, collaborating with other artists and generally being unpigeonholeable (thank you for this word, Tim Minchin).

What I make

I will write about anything and everything I'm passionate about: folklore, faeries, redheads, space opera, touring, relationships, mental health, and poisonous plants. Once a month I make new music to give to my patrons before anyone else gets to see or hear it, with private links to any videos I share, and many of the stories behind the songs I write.

Why I’m here

Patronage is a great system because there's no one between you and me and the things I create. When I'm not touring or releasing albums I still have to pay bills and buy groceries and I know I'll have the funds to keep myself healthy so I can keep making art.

How I thrive

I'm grateful to be part of so many supportive communities that value original music and independent musicians. From my friends who give me a roof over my head when I'm not on the road, to the folks who follow me on social media, to everyone who buys my music and invests in my tours, fundraising, and other projects: you're the reason I have this magical, challenging, fulfilling life.
